Senior Engineer – Energy

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join an Energy team. This role involves working closely with a team of professionals to support the expansion of the Energy and Planning business. The successful candidate will engage in project management, environmental assessments, and preliminary design for renewable energy projects, gaining exposure to various aspects of the sector.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience in civil engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status is required.
• Experience in project managing preliminary civil design for renewable energy projects is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Full driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting quality standards and budget constraints.
• Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work, collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
• Attend on-site meetings with clients and other professionals to facilitate project progress and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Management Systems and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate activities with other project team members to promote seamless collaboration.
• Support project management activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation as required.
