ABOUT US
The Green Action Trust is Scotland’s leading environmental charity, working extensively for the Scottish Government and its key agencies as well as most of Scotland’s local authorities, alongside regional partnerships, landowners, environmental groups and local communities. We help plan and deliver positive action across the country to achieve Scotland’s climate change ambitions, as well as identify and delivery opportunities for improving greenspace in both urban and rural settings.
We are best known for our work on managing the Central Scotland Green Network (a £2.4bn, 40-year programme and one of the largest green infrastructure initiatives in Europe) – meeting our ambitions to enhance nature and biodiversity.
