Location: London, Exeter, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester
Flexible Remote Work: 2 days in the office/on-site, 2 days working from home
Salary: £36,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience (up to £46,000 for London)

The Role – Senior Ecologist
As a Senior Ecologist, you’ll be the go-to expert for leading exciting projects. Your role will involve:
- Conducting Preliminary Ecology Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and Habitats Regulations Assessments.
- Designing and leading ecological surveys and mitigation strategies.
- Mentoring consultants and graduates, and contributing to the team’s success.
- Collaborating across disciplines on unique, high-impact projects.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring your advice shapes the success of their projects.
Essential Attributes:
- Academic qualifications in ecology or biological sciences.
- CIEEM membership, with a commitment to Chartership.
- In-depth knowledge of the legislative and planning policy framework.
- Excellent survey skills, including extended Phase I/UKHabs, specialized species surveys (holding at least one license or specialisation), and/or botanical assessments.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
