Our client is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and results-oriented individual to lead and expand their Environmental Division. This exciting role will involve overseeing teams in one of our clients multiple Irish offices driving growth and success across these locations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the operational and commercial performance of the team, serving as a senior management team member.
- Facilitate seamless interaction among project team members, clients, stakeholders, and external subconsultants.
- Collaborate with other environmental team members to manage resources, delegate tasks, and monitor project budgets effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers from various sectors or disciplines within the company, identifying and managing project risks while developing innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Lead business development efforts, including tender and bid management.
- Manage and mentor teams, fostering professional growth.

Qualifications:

- A relevant degree in Ecology/Environmental Science or equivalent (Level 8 or higher).
- Chartered Membership or progress toward chartered status with a professional body such as CIEEM or a similar organization.

Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental/ecological consultancy, with a solid technical foundation.
- Proven expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Ecological Impact Assessment, and Habitats Directive Appropriate Assessment. Experience with Water Framework Directive Assessment is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish environmental and planning legislation, policy, and practice.
- Exceptional project management and communication skills.
