Exciting Opportunity: Senior/Principal Environmental Consultants Across the UK

Our client is thrilled to announce an opening for Senior/Principal Environmental Consultants to join their expanding team! This is an incredible chance to be part of a dynamic and growing company, with the flexibility to work from any of their multiple offices across the UK. The successful candidate will lead the charge in coordinating environmental permitting projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Ideal candidates will have consultancy experience and expertise in environmental permit applications and variations, environmental impact assessments, and the use of tools like D1 Calculations, H1 Software Tool, SCAIL, ADMS, and BAT.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Project Management: Take the lead on a wide range of environmental projects, guiding them from start to finish with precision and efficiency.
- Environmental Assessments: Conduct thorough environmental assessments, impact studies, and site investigations to inform project decisions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Expert Advisory: Provide top-tier advice on environmental regulations and compliance, helping clients navigate complex legal landscapes.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless project delivery and outstanding outcomes.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering their growth and development within the company.
- Client Engagement: Prepare and present detailed reports and engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing project findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in environmental consulting or a similar industry, with a strong track record of project management and team leadership.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PEng, CEnv) are highly desirable and add significant value.
